Payment and Sales Tax

We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, and PayPal. California residents are subject to sales tax. The tax rate is based on your county of residence. 

 

Shipping

Please confirm that your shipping address is correct before completing your purchase. Tris and Rue is not responsible for orders delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect entry at checkout or misdelivery by the mail carrier. Please ensure that your order is arriving in a safe location. Tris and Rue is not liable for stolen or missing packages once it has been marked delivered by the mail carrier. Note that if you are paying by credit card, the shipping and billing address associated with the card must match.

 

Customs Fees for International Buyers

International buyers are responsible for paying any customs fees or taxes incurred.

 

Custom Pieces, Conversions, and Tris and Rue Originals

A 50% non refundable deposit is required for pre orders on Custom Pieces, Conversions, and Tris and Rue Originals. Custom Pieces, Conversions, and Tris and Rue Originals are handmade or hand modified in Los Angeles. As such, there may be slight variations in color, weight, materials used. Tris and Rue reserves the right to duplicate non-copyrighted antique pieces, while disclosing what is true antique and what is antique-inspired. 

 

Item Condition and Returns

By buying pre-owned, you are reducing new mining and production. As most pieces we sell are pre-owned, vintage, antique, you accept that pieces may come with imperfections. Please examine photos and ask questions before completing your order. All sales are final. You may contact us for additional photos as needed. We strive to describe items in utmost detail. Photos are considered as part of the description even if some characteristics are not disclosed in the text description. Please examine the description and photos thoroughly before purchasing as all sales are final. 

Sizing and measurements are approximate. Items may appear smaller or larger in photos versus upon delivery. If the item is grossly misrepresented, we accept approved returns within 7 days of purchase. The buyer must communicate through the contact form and include photos to receive approval of return before shipping back an item. The buyer must pay for return shipping. We absolutely do not accept returns on pieces that have been resized, modified, tampered with, worn, misused in any way.

 

Layaway and Payment Plans

Payment plans are available through Shop Pay. Reach out through the contact form or through instagram DM to trisandrue to discuss a custom layaway plan for items over 200usd. Custom layaway plans require a 25% deposit which is non refundable. In the event of a need to terminate the custom layaway, please reach out immediately. The 25% deposit is nonrefundable, but the additional balance already paid will be available as store credit. If the buyer is unresponsive after seven days of a missed layaway payment, the layaway program will be terminated and the layaway item may be listed for sale.

Tris and Rue may modify these Terms of Service and any other policies on our Site at any time. 

 

Termination

Tris and Rue reserves the right to prevent future access to the Tris and Rue website due to unauthorized transactions, fraudulent transactions, and other actions, in its sole discretion.
