The Little Star© charms in volume 8 are each flush set with natural old cut diamonds, natural sapphires, natural emeralds, and natural garnets. The antique diamonds are hand-cut, may have some inclusions, may not be perfectly round, and may have some warmth — all rustic characteristics that make old cut diamonds so special and sought after today. The sapphires, emeralds, and garnets we chose have stunning colors and are more vibrant than they appear in photos. Please note that reclaimed gemstones may have minor surface wear, adding to the story of each Little Star©.

- Handcrafted from recycled 18k solid yellow gold, never hollow, a durable 3 grams on average
- The star body measures approximately 12.5mm x 12.5mm, 3mm at the thickest point of the gold. This measurement does not include the bail
- Bail has an approximately 5mm inner diameter opening
- Will come in a reusable Tris and Rue non-abrasive bag

Note for Matte Edition: Due to the matte finishing technique, there may be very slight variations in color. This is normal, not noticeable, and just adds to the uniqueness of each handmade pendant.
Note for all solid gold: It is natural for solid gold pieces to gain scratches and patina with time. Higher karat gold tends to scratch easier due to the softer metal.

Patricia does drops of batches of Little Stars fairly often. She usually gives previews and the date and time of the drop. Each drop has unique stars and no 2 are alike since they are handmade. 18k and solid so they feel good in your hand. I was lucky enough to get a heart set ruby from the last drop. It’s beautiful and looks great with other charms I have. The next drop is coming up this week. Since I saw Tris & Rue come out with the little and mother stars, I knew this was destined to be my girls’ first diamonds. They’re quality, with a beautiful message, and they called to me. Patricia is so kind and very good communicator. I really like her business model. I think her prices are competitive as well. My pendant came beautifully wrapped and the stone is gorgeous. I’ve already had several people remark that it glows in the light. She’s also very knowledgeable about gemstones which I appreciate. I did end up ordering a second star to combine them or swap with my mom. You can’t really find anything like the little star pendants out there. If you have the means, I recommend getting one.

I've missed out on a few drops in the past because I hesitated too long, but I finally snagged a little star. I picked up a beautiful yellow-green sapphire "fae fjord" shaped like a heart. Absolutely love the piece. It's solid, eye-catching, and just makes me happy. I'm looking forward to adding another in my collection. Please create some with garnets :)
