An ultra rare late Georgian flat cut garnet half hoop/ half loop. The Georgian era spanned 1714 to about 1837. Some of the oldest pieces of jewelry in circulation, these Georgian pieces are hard to find.
Why we love it
This ring has a reinforced ring butt where someone added more gold. This ring was likely and cherished. For hovering at 200 years old, this ring remains vibrant and has many more years in her.

- Tests as Solid 9-10k gold with a tinge of rosiness, not hallmarked as most Georgian jewelry are not
- Size 5.5
- Closed back is intact (see photos), overall good antique condition with some wear to the stone and setting commensurate with age (see photos)

This antique watch chain has turned out to be a perfect "anchor" item in my jewelry collection and a piece I turn to frequently. The chain is just as described - solid and substantial, with a gorgeous patina and clear stamps on each link. I love having the option to add charms or pendants using either the bolt clasp or the dog clip. It is a nice length for a vintage/antique watch chain and can be made even versatile with a connector, chain, or bead extender. Patricia was kind and patient in sharing information and photos of the chain, and made the decision-making process so easy. I ended up not only adding a beautiful antique piece to my jewelry box, but also learning about vintage and antique jewelry from an expert!
Cat charms are so hard to find and rarely as lovely as this one is! I love the oval shape of the piece and the very natural texture. It’s also cat approved!
