It is natural for solid gold pieces to gain scratches and patina with time. Higher karat gold tends to scratch easier due to the softer metal.

Like T&R say, the Little Stars will call to people and have meaning for the people who adopt them. I waited through three volumes and then saw one that, for whatever reason, spoke to me and I needed it. I became aware of Tris & Rue when Emma from Bauble Magpie boosted their raffle fundraiser for the LA fires. As an Angeleno and woman business owner this spoke to me. Add to this that I have 5 small star tattoos (so far), and finding the Little Stars volumes felt like a bright spot.
