The French antique setting echoes designs of prior eras BUT the construction tells us this ring was made around the 1920s. The top is made of platinum and the shank is made of white gold. White gold became popular around the 1920s as it was a more accessible alternative to platinum. This shift happened due to scarcity in platinum supply during world war 1 and later, world war 2.
For the hallmark and history lovers: there’s so much history in this ring with its unique design, French eagle head mark for 18k gold, and dog head mark for platinum, which makes it even more special and highly collectible.
We’ve fully restored this ring and it’s ready for its new wearer.
The antique 18k and platinum setting has been paired with a stunning, spready, approx 1.30ct natural, untreated Zambian emerald (minor oil) that is vivid and a gorgeous tone of green. The round stone measures 7.5mm across. It’s currently a size 5 and sizable.
Note: This item was restored by our little Los Angeles shop and is one-of-a-kind. We will continue restoring more pieces in the future but we cannot replicate this exactly. Once it's sold, it's gone, which makes these restorations so special. Add to cart to make it yours!
Why we love it
This ring is absolutely breathtaking and would make a great heirloom/ milestone/ engagement piece. Emeralds are known to symbolize loyalty, new beginnings, abundance, prosperity, friendship, growth, and fidelity in love. Emerald is the birthstone for the month of May. To add to the charm and rarity, this ring has French hallmarks (eagle head and faded dog head)
Each emerald has its own "jardin" or unique fingerprint of inclusions. This emerald has been chosen for its vivid color and beautiful jardin.

Love my star charm! She’s the perfect addition to my stack!
I've missed out on a few drops in the past because I hesitated too long, but I finally snagged a little star. I picked up a beautiful yellow-green sapphire "fae fjord" shaped like a heart. Absolutely love the piece. It's solid, eye-catching, and just makes me happy. I'm looking forward to adding another in my collection. Please create some with garnets :)
Love love love. I have a few stars now and this one is even more amazing

I love my Little Star! The diamond has a soft, romantic glow, and the charm’s weight makes it feel truly substantial. The star points also make it the perfect little fidget — beautiful, playful, and grounding.
Absolutely lovely. The perfect star charm. Amazing communication and quick delivery.
Amazing! Worth every penny. Get on the wait list and adopt a star.
I hardly know where to begin with this piece; it truly takes my breath away. Beyond my personal sentiment, it is an heirloom-worthy treasure: exquisitely crafted, flawlessly executed, and designed with such elegant simplicity that it still makes a striking statement. The diamond itself is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, absolutely mesmerizing. Since receiving it, I’ve built every jewelry look around this pendant because I simply can’t bring myself to take it off.
Working with Tris made the entire experience even more meaningful. She was a dream to work with, patient, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to answer my questions. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and artistry, and I know I’ll be a lifelong client.
I love, love, love my OEC diamond star! The sparkly diamond and buttery 18k gold have elevated my go to neck stack. Could not be happier!
The little star is stunning. More beautiful at home than on instagram. And it was stunning on the gram. Mine has an opalescent sapphire and it is so beautiful and cool. And definitely an heirloom. I see myself passing this to my daughter one day. But until then it is all mine. Go get yourself on the waitlist and get a little star.
I received my star in the mail today and I gasped! It’s just sooo good.
Has a guaranteed spot on my neck. It’s just perfect. Thank you
I absolutely love my tiny star! I got to pick out the exact stone I wanted and she also gave amazing feedback on how it would look in the setting. Amazing customer service and super communicative. Easily my favorite piece of jewelry right now. Will be buying many more!
