"Lisboa" 19k Antique Iberian ring with table cut diamonds
Share
An ultra-rare antique Iberian ring for the collectors in the room. This silver topped example is crafted from 19k solid gold and set with 11 table cut diamonds. It‘s likely from the late 18th century (the equivalent of the late Georgian era). It has the “lazo” or ”bow” 🎀 motif on each shoulder, emblematic of Iberian jewelry of the time.
The details don't stop there. There’s also a flower carving on each shoulder and a halo of blue enamel around the central diamond. The back of the ring face is solid, smooth, and buttery.
Why we love it
This ring is in good condition for the age (more than 200 years old). Not many rings survive from this era as through time, they have been melted or damaged. It is very rare in general to find antique Iberian rings of this age so there are only a handful in the online market at any given time- the rarest of the rare. We physically picked this ring up by walking into a small jewelry shop in Lisbon, Portugal in Dec 2022. This is a rare, serendipitous find.

from 10 reviewsI saw these masks all the time when I was traveling in Italy! Brings back so many good memories.
Not only did it come BEAUTIFULLY wrapped, it is even more gorgeous in person than I had ever hoped! Needless to say, I am in love! Tris and Rue is amazing and I can’t wait for my next purchase with them!
First purchase was fabulous. Communication & item sent so quickly just as described
Will be back soon for more purchases
I purchased the medium bolt clasp and it’s incredibly versatile and can easily fit a shocking number of charms! Well made and now I’m eyeing the large version!
I ordered this wring in hopes to find the perfect “pre loved” wedding band that I can wear to work since I work in healthcare. I needed something sturdy and comfortable and this band is just that! It is the perfect size and great value for what I purchased. :) Patricia is a dream to work with and carries the prettiest gold! She answers all of your questions with kindness and patience. I will continue to support her and her business!
I use this bolt clasp almost every day. It’s a perfect connector for a charm jumble. Arthritis in my hands makes it hard for me to connect most chain clasps. This bolt, which stays open until you click it closed makes all my chains easier to use. Love it!
Tris & Rue made my buying experience so easy and the owner had great communication and even gave care instructions. I am so in love with my ring and look forward to purchasing from Tris & Rue again.
Tris and Rue is one of my absolute favorite new (to me) places to browse and purchase vintage and antique goodies. Not only is the inventory beautifully curated, but Patricia is the sweetest, kindest soul. Such helpful and thoughtful service and incredible product. OBSESSED with my new cigar band!!!
This antique watch chain has turned out to be a perfect "anchor" item in my jewelry collection and a piece I turn to frequently. The chain is just as described - solid and substantial, with a gorgeous patina and clear stamps on each link. I love having the option to add charms or pendants using either the bolt clasp or the dog clip. It is a nice length for a vintage/antique watch chain and can be made even versatile with a connector, chain, or bead extender. Patricia was kind and patient in sharing information and photos of the chain, and made the decision-making process so easy. I ended up not only adding a beautiful antique piece to my jewelry box, but also learning about vintage and antique jewelry from an expert!
Cat charms are so hard to find and rarely as lovely as this one is! I love the oval shape of the piece and the very natural texture. It’s also cat approved!
